About that cat…

Catblogging sorta fell by the wayside there, so y’all are overdue for an update.

Clancy’s coming up on 5 months old, maybe 8 pounds or so (he won’t stay on a scale), and (finally!) fully vaccinated and healthy. Next month he goes in for The Big Snip, the poor little bastard. He’s definitely a People Cat, so long as the people in question is me. Basically, if I’m in the house, he’s on my lap or following me around. Once his initial skittishness wore off he warmed up to Squeaky, too. She snapped these pictures of him:

Clancy

Clancy again

Now if only he’d stop growing those Velociraptor claws…

  1. To save your furniture, get him started on those corrugated cardboard scratching boxes ASAP - those are the only kind I’ve ever found to attract cats consistently.
