Whoops, just realized that you didn’t mention whether you write left or right handed. When you’re mixed handed and write right handed, you’re supposed to hold your pencil like you’re left handed (which makes no sense, since you have no reason to write like that). Mixed handed people are supposed to be adept at both logical and creative faculties. We’re very well-rounded.

I was well on my way to being truly ambidextrous until two things happened… one, everyone refused to assist me to write left handed when I was a little kid, and two, I broke my arm at the wrist severely when I was 12 and got *just* enough loss of fine motor control to keep me from writing without probably a couple months of hard practice.

That said, I freak people out when I’m mousing with the left hand, typing with the right, and every so often swapping to typing leftie and writing something down rightie. Nobody’s comfortable at my desk

I’m mixed-handed too… They say some interesting things about folks like us…

Do you hold a pencil the same way most people do? (eraser-end pointed over your shoulder)
