She damn well should.

Driver has no regrets for firing gun on I-94.

“If I wanted to, I could have hit his truck or even him,” she said at her attorney’s office in Madison Heights. “I wasn’t trying to kill anybody.”

Ah, just a warning shot. That makes it okay, then.

“I do know better,” she said. “I’m far from an idiot.”

There, fixed that for you.

I do have to give the reporter, Gina Damron, credit for pointing out that:

“The incident is one of the few high-profile cases of its kind since the concealed weapons permit law was passed in 1999, making it easier for Michiganders to carry guns.”

She also resisted the usual journalist urge to throw in a quote from some Brady/VPC hack about “bringing back the Wild West” or “blood flowing in the streets.” It’s a remarkably balanced article, especially by Detroit Free Press standards.
