Photoblogging to Detroit
Headed into the city this afternoon to clean up the family graves in Woodmere Cemetery. I brought the digital camera along to document a few of the more… curious sights along the way.
I still laugh every time I drive by this place. Yeah, I’m immature. But it’s still pretty funny.
This isn’t just your everyday White Castle. No, this White Castle is the birthplace of the mighty MC5. Kick out the jams, motherfuckers!
I guess this is where you go if you don’t have the Internets. And no, I’ve never set foot in the place. I have broadband.
Visit scenic Detroit, Michigan! You can smell the refinery from a mile away.
Charming local color in a vibrant neighborhood.
I recommend the ham.
I’d wanted to do a little more, but this really isn’t the kind of neighborhood where a skinny white boy should be wandering around with a digital camera. Hmm, I wonder if the state tourism board is hiring…
