The latest unemployment numbers are out. Michigan is #50 out of 51, only ahead of Mississippi, and only by 0.1%. We’re at 7.1% against a national average of 4.4%.

For those who don’t know, I’m planning to get the hell out of Michigan and move to Vegas. The economic problems in this state are deep, structural ones, and there isn’t much being done to fix it. Michigan is a one-trick pony, and that pony is being led behind the barn by a farmer with a .22.
